COGNITIVE TRANSFER IN S. DOVLATOV’S TEXTS

Abstract. The article describes the mechanism of re-deployment of observation perspective and emotive identification in S. Dovlatov’s works. The authors offer their ways of looking at the features of Dovlatov’s narrative manner, according to which his narrative is based on the regular change of the active subject of description; define "cognitive transfer" as an appeal to various cultural, temporal and pathetic continua providing the expressiveness and information richness of Dovlatov’s texts.
