DEFAMATION AND AGGRESSION IN THE POLITICAL DISCOURSE (BY THE MATERIAL OF A. LUKASHENKO’S INTERVIEW)

Abstract. The article introduces the definition of political discourse, describes its primary and secondary functions. The strategies and tactics of harmonious political discourse are identified. Conflict political discourse is considered as a result of political struggle between the interview participants - the bearers of different cultures. Defamation strategy comes out as a key strategy of conflict political discourse realized by one-directional and bi-directional attack tactics. The author mentions the asymmetry of communicative roles in the intercultural political interview which broadens the traditional interview conception.
