SACRALITY OF THE NUMERAL THREE IN THE KUBAN WEDDING CEREMONY

Abstract. The article presents the results of ethnolinguistic study of lexemes with the semantics of the numeral three in the ceremonial vocabulary of the Kuban wedding. The principal symbolic meanings of the numeral three in the context of description of ceremonial actions, attributes and ranks of the Kuban wedding ceremony are revealed. The interconnection of numeric symbolism of wedding ceremony with its action, object, temporal and character codes is found out.
