THE ANALYSIS OF STATEMENTS WITH "WEAK" DEFINITENESS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE THEORY OF SPEECH ACTS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN PRINT MEDIA)

Abstract. In the article the analysis of statements with "weak definiteness" within the framework of the theory of speech acts by the material of the modern Russian print media is carried out. "Weakly definite" noun phrases are considered from the perspective of the author’s fulfillment of the illocutionary act, striving for interesting his readers to the maximum. The authors of the article aim at proving the special expressiveness of these statements in different genres of newspaper texts.
