GENRE AND STYLISTIC PARAMETERS OF MODAL FRAME IN BRITISH MEDIA TEXTS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the implementation of modality in the British media texts of different genre and stylistic directions. The paper considers a text-centric approach to the study of modality, the classification of media texts, and describes the modal execution of texts with different information structures. The correlation of the modal frame of the text with its genre and stylistic originality and pragmatic orientation is considered.
