IMAGE OF NIKITA CHIKLIN IN A. P. PLATONOV’S NOVEL "THE FOUNDATION PIT" FROM THE STANDPOINT OF PREDICATE ANALYSIS

Abstract. The article presents an analysis of the character Nikita Chiklin from A. P. Platonov’s narrative "The Foundation Pit" by means of the predicate analysis techniques used for the description of characters and being developed by the author. The study allows revealing the features of Nikita Chiklin’s image. This personage is characterized by great independence and activity, the emotional state at the difficulty of mental processes; the ontological nature of this character’s image is also identified.
