ECOLINGUISTICS: DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE LAWS OF WILDLIFE

Abstract. In the article the author develops the naturalistic direction in linguistics, based on the principles and methods of the natural sciences during the study of development and functioning of the language. It is shown that the modern English language lives and develops according to the laws of wildlife and the changes taking place in it are irreversible. They are subordinate to internal and external factors that determine in total the vector of development of the English language in the modern socio-cultural conditions of its functioning.
