PECULIARITIES OF LOGICAL-SEMANTIC ARRANGEMENT OF TEXTS OF HISTORICAL SUBJECT MATTER IN POPULAR SCIENCE SUBSTYLE

Abstract. This article analyzes the peculiarities of the logical-semantic arrangement of the texts of historical subject matter in the popular science substyle. The texts of historical subject matter are a cognitive component of communicative competence formed in a foreign student. The paper examines the texts that reveal 4 cognitive formations: "general characteristic of object", "general characteristic of process", "creation of new object", "crisis phenomena in object".
