TRANSLATION PECULIARITIES OF TV PROGRAM TEXTS (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE TRANSLATION OF TV PROGRAM TEXTS OF THE CBS CHANNEL "60 MINUTES")

Abstract. The article presents the results of studying the translation peculiarities of TV programs text by the example of translation of texts of the American channel CBS "60 minutes". It is concluded that the adequate conveyance of numerous lexical and syntactic means of expressiveness in the TV programs texts, which represent the synthesis of journalistic, conversational and other styles, is not an easy task for an interpreter and requires a thorough linguistic analysis of the original text and taking correct translation decisions by him/her.
