TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR GENERAL PURPOSES TO STUDENTS OF NON-LINGUISTIC FACULTIES: SPECIFICITY, PROBLEMS, SOLUTIONS

Abstract. The article considers the specificity of teaching a foreign language for general purposes to students of non-linguistic faculties. The author marks the features of the academic discipline, motivational, psychological, age-related and didactic aspects of teaching. The paper singles out the most frequent problems, arising in the process of teaching a foreign language, and marks possible solutions.
