S. I. BOLO AS A COLLECTOR OF THE RUSSIAN FOLKLORE: RECORDS OF 1940-1941

Abstract. The article deals with peculiarities of recording the Russian folklore made by S. I. Bolo in the lower reaches of the Kolyma and Indigirka rivers in 1940-1941. The researcher’s contribution to collection and study of unknown folklore during its active existence is considered. The introduction of his records in the publication of the Russian folklore of this region is shown. The collector represented the local features of the Russian folklore. The approach in identifying the peculiarities of telling a fairy tale that has a literary source by the narrator is planned.
