VARIANCE AS A SOURCE OF EXPRESSIVENESS OF EMOTIVE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN THE MODERN FRENCH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article deals with the phenomenon of variance as a source of expressiveness for emotive phraseological units with the verb "avoir" ‘to have’ of the modern French language. It is pointed out that variance as a source of expressiveness for phraseological units of this type basically manifests itself through synonymous substitutions. The author identifies the characteristic features of the variation of verbal and substantive components of the phraseological units under consideration, as well as the tendencies, by which the increase in their expressive potential in the process of variation in speech is conditioned.
