TEACHERS’ NAMES IN THE ETINGER FAMILY (BY THE MATERIAL OF DINA RUBINA’S TRILOGY "THE RUSSIAN CANARY")

Abstract. The article examines the names of the teachers who influenced the representatives of family clan from Dina Rubina’s trilogy "The Russian Canary". Anthroponyms are analyzed from the viewpoint of their origin and motivation. The analysis promotes deeper understanding of characters’ (and author’s) conception of Teacher’s profession, professional qualities of a real teacher. The variety of natural names and multi-aspectuality of artificial ones indicate author’s individual style by which the musicality of D. Rubina’s texts is formed.
