ON THE ISSUE OF ERGONYMS-RUSSISMS TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH

Abstract. The article describes ways of translating ergonyms-Russisms into English in the field of intercultural communication. The aim of the study is to identify the language mechanisms of the formation and functioning of these proper names in the English language of intercultural communication. Conclusions are drawn that, when translating elements of ergonyms-xenonyms, both calque and borrowing are used, which leads to inconsecutive translation of the units described.
