Kozlova Lyudmila Vladimirovna
I. P. Pavlov Ryazan State Medical University

Abstract. The article is devoted to the topical problem of correctness of speech. It is shown that the study of the standards of pronunciation and accentuation in the Russian language causes a number of difficulties. They are connected, firstly, with the fact that the standards are not static, but changeable in time, secondly, with the lack of standardization of modern norms and, thirdly, with the existence of variants that are used among the people of a certain profession. The work focuses on the comparative analysis of orthoepic dictionaries at the end of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century. On the basis of the conducted research, the author records the changes in orthoepic norms in recent decades, as well as contradictions in the dictionary data in modern orthoepic dictionaries.
Key words and phrases: языковая норма, орфоэпия, нормы произношения и постановки ударения, литературный язык, варианты ударения, орфоэпический словарь русского языка, language norm, orthoepy, standards of pronunciation and accentuation, literary language, variants of stress, orthoepic dictionary of the Russian language
