COMBINATION OF LINGUISTIC MEANS FOR REACHING GENDER CORRECTNESS IN THE GERMAN-LANGUAGE LEGAL TEXTS

Abstract. The article is devoted to one of the most topical areas of modern linguistics - gender research. The possibility to combine the gender-neutral and gender-specific linguistic means in the German-language legal texts is considered. The authors come to the conclusion that to form a statement properly according to the gender correctness means to find and to choose a suitable linguistic means that will help to reach the gender neutrality based on the context, text type and the meaning of the utterance.
