IMPROVING THE SYSTEM OF ENGLISH TEACHERS’ ADVANCED TRAINING (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE KOMI REPUBLIC)

Abstract. The article examines the problem of improving the system of teachers’ advanced training in the context of the Russian school system transformation. The results of the survey conducted in the courses for the English language teachers’ advanced training in the Komi Republic are presented. The survey has made it possible to find out their opinion on the modern system of professional development. Based on the analysis of the survey results, recommendations are proposed for improving the system of the English teachers’ advanced training.
