LANGUAGE MARKERS OF INFERNAL SPACE IN N. V. GOGOL’S STORY "THE LOST LETTER"

Abstract. The article is devoted to the language marking of "border" spaces and their impact on human nature in N. Gogol’s story "The Lost Letter". The authors single out lexical marks of the "border nature" of ambivalent areas. It is stated that the key sign of the "bewitched" places is semes with the meaning "wine".
