PREVENTIVE CONSTRUCTIONS WITH DELEXICALIZED ELEMENT WANTA/WANTI "LOOK" IN KHANTY

Abstract. The paper describes for the first time preventive constructions with the delexicalized element wanta/wanti "look", formed by the type of a simple sentence in the Khanty language. In such constructions the element wanta/wanti means "be careful, attentive, sensible, provident" and takes mostly a prepositional position in relation to the preventive verb-predicate. Such syntactic models differ in productivity and the degree of saturation with the semantics of warning.
