SEMANTIC ACTUALIZATION OF THE EASTERN VOCABULARY IN THE CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. This article analyzes the process of the eastern borrowings actualization in the contemporary Russian language. It notes that along with the process of neologisms creation other processes associated with changes in the functioning of lexical units take place in the language. This article discusses connotative changes in orientalisms of the Russian lexical system.
