COMPARATIVE APPROACH IMPLEMENTATION IN TEACHING GERMAN AS A SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of teaching German as a second foreign language after English. The author analyzes the possibilities of using comparison as one of the methods of comparative linguistics in foreign language teacher’s work. The paper gives the examples of the comparison of English and German at the phonological, morphological, syntactic and semantic levels.
