INTERCULTURAL POTENTIAL OF TEXTS FOR CHILDREN'S READING

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of the selection of texts for the formation and development of the intercultural competence of the Chinese students-philologists in the Russian language classes. The possibility of using texts for children’s reading as educational material is substantiated. The author analyzes the results of the survey of the Russian and Chinese students, on the basis of which the selection of texts for children’s reading having intercultural potential can be implemented.
