CONTRASTIVE COUNTRY STUDIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract. The article discusses various aspects of the discipline "Contrastive country studies" by the material of the Russia and German speaking countries. Its role in the formation of social competence, including cultural, linguistic country study, cultural and intercultural components, is shown. The author identifies the goals and objectives, proposes a thematic plan and forms of intermediate and final control.
