THE CRIMEAN REALITIES IN THE BIG LINGUISTIC-CULTURAL DICTIONARY "RUSSIA"

Abstract. The article discusses the relevance of contemporary linguistic-cultural researches, in particular works on description of the regional peculiarities of the Russian language through the prism of culture-oriented linguistics. The author is interested in the place of the Crimean regional realities in the national language worldview. For this purpose The Big Linguistic-Cultural Dictionary "Russia" is analyzed; the corpus of regional nominative units, to various degrees representing the culturally significant for the Crimean people realities, is made up. Further, the material obtained by continuous sampling from the dictionary is analyzed in terms of completeness of lexicographical representation, i.e. the inclusion of the regional components of meaning in the content of the entry, and this is the novelty of the research.
