HEADLINE COMPLEX OF THE POEM BY A. I. SOLZHENITSYN "DOROZHENKA"

Bai Yang
Tambov State University named after G. R. Derzhavin

Abstract. The article is devoted to investigating the semantics of the headline of the poem by A. I. Solzhenitsyn "Dorozhenka". The researcher analyzes the whole "headline complex" of the poem: chapter titles, epigraphs, author’s subtitle. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of poem’s metric pattern. The analysis indicates that all the frame components of the poem in their own way aim to discover the multi-aspect image of a road. In A. I. Solzhenitsyn’s early poem the road image represents the real movement of lyrical hero, human’s life journey, destiny of a nation and country.
