ON COMPATIBILITY OF THE VERBS OF FORMATION AND MANIFESTATION OF COLOUR FEATURE WITH DIFFERENT LEXICO-SEMANTIC GROUPS OF NOUNS

Abstract. The article aims to identify the compatibility of the verbs of formation and manifestation of colour feature, the representants of linguistic worldview, with the different lexico-semantic groups of nouns. The analysis indicates high frequency of certain verbs and less productivity of the other. The author concludes on wide compatibility of certain verbs and restricted compatibility of the other.
