THE PRECONDITIONS AND MANIFESTATIONS OF SEMANTIC DISSONANCE IN MILITARY TRANSLATION (BY THE EXAMPLE OF TRANSLATION FROM THE GERMAN LANGUAGE INTO RUSSIAN)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of preconditions and manifestations of semantic dissonance in a military translation. Special attention is paid to the revealing of the phenomenon of semantic dissonance in the framework of activity type of the ontology in the science of translation. The causes of semantic dissonance in the translation are determined by structural and cultural factors. The authors come to the conclusion that an effective way of removing semantic dissonance is the use of transformations in translation, provided that the semantic content for all modifications remains invariant.
