LEXICAL PECULIARITIES OF FLORA TERMS IN THE MODERN KUMYK LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the phytonymic vocabulary of the Kumyk language. In the research the names of wild-growing and cultivated plants by the example of the Kumyk language are classified. This work is aimed at preserving and studying the scientific material, where both modern and archaic or obsolete units of phytonymic vocabulary that describe the originality of the Kumyk people are presented.
