MACRO ARGUMENTATION IN THE MODERN AMERICAN POLITICAL INTERVIEW

Abstract. The article deals with the notion "macro argumentation" by the example of political interviews with Hillary Clinton of 2014-2016. A distinction is made between argumentation in discourse and macro argumentation at the discourse interpretation level. Macro argumentation allows implementing a hidden impact in accordance with the macro goal of the interview.
