MOTIVATION OF TERMS OF FOREST USE IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article considers the motivation of forest use terms in the Russian legislative discourse. The material for the study is the text of "The Forest Code of the Russian Federation" and data from lexicographic sources. The groups of terms of forest use are identified in accordance with such types of motivation as imagery, categorial nature, systematic character, definitive nature and also false-motivated and unmotivated terms.
