THE METHODS OF EXPRESSION OF LANGUAGE MANIPULATION AT THE SYNTACTIC LEVEL

Abstract. In the article the notion "manipulation" in linguistics is defined and the main characteristic features of the phenomenon "language manipulation" are singled out. By the material of the German cinematograph of the XXI century the author analyzes the dialogues in which the means of expressing language manipulation at the level of syntax are demonstrated. It is concluded that the main means of expressing manipulation at the syntactic level is the change in the structure of the sentence due to grammatical substitutions and stylistic devices.
