THE FORMATION OF THE PERFECT MAN IDEAL IN THE ADYGHE LITERATURE OF THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY (BY THE MATERIAL OF A. G. DYMOV’S WORKS)

Abstract. The article discusses the ideal of the perfect man in the context of the Adyghe literature development. By the material of A. G. Dymov’s works the paper shows that the ideal of the perfect man should be legitimately interpreted not only as an obvious leitmotif of pedagogy, but also as a projection of the ideas of Islamic reformism, which influence in the studies of the Adyghe culture of the mentioned period remains little-studied so far. Beyond "the parameters" of perfection, usual for religious education, reformism introduces intellectual propaganda in didactic texts and changes the manner of interpretation of the perfect personality from the mystical to realistic one in theological texts.
