MULTIMODALITY OF SPEECH AGGRESSION IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT

Gabdrafikova Tamara Shamilevna
Moscow State University of Education

Abstract. In the article the notion of "multimodality of speech aggression", which means the widespread and accepted speech behaviour in computer communication, is revealed. Multimodality of speech aggression is manifested in the attempt of users to approximate their messages as much as possible to the emotionality and expressiveness of live communication, despite the absence of such paralinguistic signs as intonation, gestures, facial expressions and posture in the virtual environment. The author considers the verbal manifestation of multimodality of speech aggression and the creative ways which are used to achieve the effect of live chat in computer communication.
