EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE LANGUAGE WORLD VIEW OF A CHILD (BY THE MATERIALS OF ASSOCIATIONS TO THE WORD "FATHER")

Abstract. The article analyzes the associative field of the word "father" in the language world view of a child living in the early twenty-first century. It is noted that with the help of language units the language world view of the child represents a certain mode of perception, comprehension, understanding of the world around him/her in accordance with his/her age and experience. The main research method is a free associative experiment in which 100 persons under test (second and third grade pupils of secondary schools in Birsk, Republic of Bashkortostan) took part. The analysis focuses on the units of the lexical-semantic level. Experimental study of the language world view allows you to understand better the changes in children’s ideas about the world, motivating their behaviour. The analysis of associations to the word "father" shows that for native speakers of Russian the father is a key figure that is represented in the reactions of respondents today as well. The communication with the father has a great influence on the formation of child’s language world view and personality.
