A. S. PUSHKIN’S LIFE AND CREATIVE WORK THROUGH THE EYES OF CARMEN BRAVO-VILLASANTE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the academic research by the Spanish writer Carmen Bravo-Villasante "Pushkin’s Biography" the publication of which became a landmark in the Spanish Pushkin studies. The author traces Carmen Bravo-Villasante’s growing interest for Pushkin and identifies the peculiarities of her research: the book provides a detailed description and analysis of A. S. Pushkin’s creative work, for the first time publishes the fragments from his epistolary heritage.
