LEXICAL MEANS OF OBJECTIFICATION OF THE CONCEPT "PROFESSION" IN THE TEXTS OF RUSSIAN PRINT MEDIA

Abstract. This article examines the concept "profession" in the framework of cognitive linguistics based on the analysis of its lexical representatives in the texts of modern Russian print media. The textual interpretation of the means of objectification of the concept allows identifying some conceptual characteristics that represent socio-cultural peculiarities of the Russian mentality. The analysis of the desired characteristics according to the frequency of objectification helps to identify the main components of the concept "profession", reproducing the equivalent values of the Russian society.
