DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTIONS OF TESTING WHEN TEACHING ENGLISH TO NON-LINGUISTIC STUDENTS

Abstract. The article provides a comparative analysis of English language tests used to monitor the adoption of lexical and grammatical units by non-linguistic students. Relying on the research findings the authors propose the most efficient test methods aimed to ensure the conscious foreign language acquisition.
