TATAR PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH RELIGIOUS SEMANTICS

Abstract. At the present stage of the development of linguistics, the issue of representing the characteristics of the culture of the people in linguistic material is one of the most urgent. This article is devoted to the study of phraseological units with religious content in the Tatar language. As a research task, the authors make an attempt to select phraseological units with religious content in the Tatar language by a method of continuous sampling, to give a semantic description and a thematic classification of the units under study. The phraseological units selected from the phraseological dictionaries of the Tatar language are the object of the study. In the course of the work, the specifics of using these units in modern Tatar language are determined.
