Abstract. The article focuses on analyzing the word-formative models of the modern German language, which contribute to replenishing "ecological" word stock. Special emphasis is made on the newly developing word-formative model, contamination, which acquires increasing importance and is widely used along with the conventional models (stem composition, suffixation, and verbalization). This word-formative model is among the most frequent in the German youth colloquial language. English borrowings are considered as the markers of evaluative secondary nomination bearing positive connotation.
Key words and phrases: эмотивная лингвоэкология, креатема, заимствование, контаминация, эвфемистичность, экологичность, emotive linguo-ecology, createme, borrowing, contamination, euphemistic nature, ecological compatibility
