"SMART HOUSE" METAPHOR: CONDITIONS OF FORMATION, CONTENT CHARACTERISTICS AND WAYS OF VERBALIZATION (ON THE BASIS OF CONTENT-ANALYSIS OF THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL CORPUS DATA)

Abstract. The article examines the conceptual metaphor SMART HOUSE, analyses its characteristics, conditions of formation and ways of linguistic representation in the Russian language. The comprehensive study of the SMART HOUSE metaphor is carried out by the material of the Russian National Corpus by the content analysis method, which allows the authors to get the examples of the metaphor verbalization leading to the analysis of its conceptual characteristics in the Russian conceptual sphere. The authors identify the sources of the metaphor formation, show the peculiarities and tendencies of the Russian language in the formation of a new concept that is of great social importance for the Russian reality.
