TYPICAL PECULIARITIES OF THE PROFESSIONAL GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article analyses professional construction vocabulary in the German language. The authors conclude that the German construction vocabulary is characterized by lexical and thematic peculiarities, which are represented in the names of urban and rural settlements, residential accommodations, forms and methods of building, parts of buildings, building materials, transport and professions. Some of them are introduced into the everyday language through radio, television, newspapers, magazines and Internet, thus influencing the colloquial vocabulary.
