STUDYING RUSSIAN NETWORK LITERATURE BY FOLKLORISTIC METHODS: PROBLEM FORMULATION

Abstract. The article aims to broaden the methodological apparatus for studying Russian network literature. Taking into account the similarity between folkloric and Internet environment the author proposes to refer to folklorists’ methodology. Special attention is paid to interdisciplinarity of the folkloristic methodological apparatus. The paper examines some folkloristic techniques and justifies their relevance for studying network literature. The author points out that the problem of boundaries between network literature and Internet folklore is still debatable.
