LINGUO-CULTUROLOGICAL CONTINUUM OF THE WORD "ANGINA" IN THE RUSSIAN LINGUISTIC WORLDVIEW

Abstract. The article is devoted to analyzing linguo-culturological continuum of the word "Angina" in the modern Russian language as a component of the key concept "Winter" in the Russian linguistic worldview. The paper provides a comprehensive study of linguistic continuum of the lexeme "Angina", the research objectives are as follows: to trace the origin of this borrowing in the Russian language, to describe the modern semantics, to investigate word-formations of a generative word and derivative bases which differ in the delicate shades of lexical meaning, compatibility with other words, contextual usage of the lexeme in the scientific, literary and publicistic texts.
