TERMINOLOGY OF MILITARY HELICOPTER AVIATION AS AN OBJECT OF LINGUISTIC STUDY (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE ENGLISH, RUSSIAN AND TURKISH LANGUAGES)

Abstract. The article deals with the terminology of military helicopter aviation in the English, Russian and Turkish languages. A distinctive feature and novelty of this study is its focus on highly specialized vocabulary in the context of several languages. The author describes the main stages of work with terminology, presents the results of its semasiological and onomasiological analysis. Conclusions are drawn that, firstly, the terms in three languages are monosemantic; secondly, synonymy is widespread; thirdly, most terms are terms-phrases.
