REPRESENTATION OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The subject of the study is the linguistic means of the modern English language, expressing emotional intelligence. The object of the research is emotional intelligence in modern English. The article reveals the content of the notion "emotional intelligence", which is an actual topic in modern linguistics. The modern English language represents the language of aesthetics, emotions and intellect and shows their simultaneous double complexity and interdependence. The models of emotional intelligence demonstrate its impact on a person’s life success. The author focuses on the identification of the linguistic means of modern English expressed in the emotive attitude of the subject of speech to the designated feature of the evaluated object. The research methods are the analysis of factual material on the basis of the interpretative approach, the analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, abstraction and comparison.
