CLASSIFICATION OF LINGUISTIC TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract. The paper identifies different types of linguistic technologies depending on the input and output data type, language system level, means and forms of communication, contingent of users. The author describes the peculiarities of the functioning of linguistic programs, systems and applications, the input of which is the text in the natural language. Special attention is paid to the applications for the statistical analysis of text documents. It is shown that the identified technologies can be used as the configurational characteristics of linguistic software.
