LEXICO-SEMANTIC GROUPS OF VERBAL UNITS OF SUBLANGUAGE OF MEDICINE AS A FRAGMENT OF SECTORAL VOCABULARY

Abstract. The article is devoted to identifying the semantic specificity of the verbal vocabulary of the professional language functioning in the spheres of education, practical activity and medical science. The authors examine the semantics of verbs - medical terms, offer their lexico-semantic classification taking into account substantive and non-substantive semes. Quantitative data on the composition of the lexico-semantic groups of special verbal units are provided. The seme structure of the lexico-semantic groups of verbal terms is described; the most frequent semes are identified.
