DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN SPEECH AND CROSSCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF THE CHINESE STUDENTS BY MEANS OF PAINTING IN DISTANCE LEARNING

Abstract. The article substantiates the idea that in distance learning, the use of the program for videoconferencing ‘BigBlueButton’ is the most efficient way to develop the Russian speech and crosscultural competence of the Chinese students. The authors focus on the creation of speech environment by means of visual aids and the method of frontal conversation based on the reproduction of a painting. The paper offers an online lesson plan using the reproduction of the painting "Unexpected Visitor" by I. Ye. Repin, the artist’s biography, Ernst Sapritskii’s poem of the same name and reference materials.
