PECULIARITIES OF REPRESENTING THE CONCEPTS WAR AND PEACE ON THE BASIS OF PSYCHOLINGUISTIC EXPERIMENT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE RUSSIAN, ENGLISH AND JAPANESE LANGUAGES)

Abstract. The article examines the results of a psycholinguistic experiment as a method to study the concepts WAR and PEACE. The paper is devoted to the relevant nowadays problem of how the bearers of the modern Russian, English and Japanese languages understand war and peace as two social phenomena. The findings lead to the conclusion that the representatives of the three linguo-cultures have some common features but at the same time the content of the WAR and PEACE concepts contains the components representing their national specificity.
