ANGLO-RUSSIAN BILINGUAL DICTIONARY AS A TOOL FOR FIXING VOCABULARY WITH THE SEMANTICS OF RESTORATION OF WOODEN ARCHITECTURE MONUMENTS

Abstract. The article raises the question of the development of a language for specific purposes designed to preserve and study the world cultural heritage in the field of restoration, including monuments of wooden architecture. Tools for linguistic maintenance of this branch of knowledge are offered - newly created bilingual lexicographic products - the English-Russian glossaries with the explanatory-interpretive variant. A brief analysis of dictionaries on woodworking is conducted. The onomasiological and semasiological aspects of the vocabulary of this subject group are considered in order to eliminate palliatives, harmonize terminology for full professional crosscultural interaction and training.
